About
I work at the intersection of leadership, culture, and institutional renewal.
For more than twenty years, I have founded schools, built companies, led operations, and advised organizations on how to grow without losing their identity. My work focuses on a problem many institutions now face: how to recover clarity, discipline, and confidence in an age of cultural fragmentation.
My background includes founding independent schools, serving in leadership roles in Catholic education, building new business lines, and consulting on strategy, governance, and operations across nonprofit, education, and infrastructure sectors. I hold an MBA from Duke University, studied Classics at Johns Hopkins, and completed executive leadership training at the University of Notre Dame.
In recent years my work has expanded into speaking and writing on leadership, formation, and the rebuilding of durable institutions. I draw on the classical tradition, Catholic intellectual thought, and practical experience as a founder and executive.
Current projects include:
- Throw Thunder — a book on leadership and the moral architecture of civilization
- The Cultural Diet — a framework for evaluating the cultural environment shaping students and institutions
- Advisory work for schools, nonprofits, and mission-driven organizations
My goal is simple:
Help institutions rebuild strength, legitimacy, and purpose without losing the traditions that made them worth building.
